"The Google Bearth of a Glass of Wine" - Sandy Kunze; "This google earth map I transformed shows the funky evolution of the first red and first white being bottled this spring.  The 2009 Pinot Noir and the 2010 Sauvignon Blanc are the inaugural wines to come out of our region of the valley.  I was lucky enough to have my paintings used on these vintages.  We can't wait to try the first bottle, and we will be toasting Willa and Cora for brining us all togethet through arts and geography."

"Second Kootenay Spring" - Joanne Ferry;  "When I saw this book I was already working with map artworks, so it seemed natural to contribute.  The map I was workign with was "Day Hikes in East and West Kootenays of British Columbia".  I moved back to the Kootenays in 2009, so I titled my piece "Second Kootenay Spring" since that is my present experience."

The deliberate choice of vibrant colors signified the importance of Marketing in Consumerism, and also how attune we are to their marketing gimmick over years. So are they your toys or are you their toy?"
